JONAS

Yay! They’re starting to release a few production photos from JONAS!

A lot of you are asking what the letters stand for now that the spy theme has been changed. There were all kinds of legal reasons that they can’t call themselves the Jonas Brothers on the tv show… so now their band is simply called “JONAS”… and therefore the name of our show!!

We attend a private school called Horace Mantis Academy (HMA) and our school colors are blue and maroon. We wear school uniforms… with lots of plaid! Wait ’til you see how cute the boys look in theirs!!

We are getting a week hiatus for Thanksgiving… and I am going to ARGENTINA!! I met some wonderful international friends at the Disney Channel Games and Carla has invited me to visit her in Buenos Aires next week. It’s my first time leaving the U.S. and I am sooo excited! I will probably be out of touch for a little while, but I’ll take lots of photos and tell you all about it when I return!!

Thank you for all your support and love!! Life is getting busier and I can’t always reply, but I do read every word you write to me and I love hearing from you! You guys are the BEST!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am off to Argentina tomorrow morning to spend my week hiatus from JONAS visiting my international Disney Channel friends and learning about a new culture! It was a very generous invitation and I am soooo excited!!

I have to admit that I’m a little nervous to be so far from home… especially on Thanksgiving. But my family is thrilled that I am getting this opportunity and we are going to gather for a belated Thanksgiving dinner next Saturday night when I return.

For all of you attending the Jonas Brothers concert on Sunday the 30th at the Hollywood Palladium… I hope to see you there!!!

A LETTER TO OUR FANS

To Our Fans from Joe, Kevin and Nick:

It is our normal rule to avoid talking about our private lives. It seems that it has come to the point where we must address a few things. We would prefer to address these things and then leave it alone from that point forward.

We felt like it was important to respond because recent events have affected our fans. It is important to us as artists and brothers to enlighten regarding this situation. Our fans are the most important thing to us.

There are rumors and suggestions that are being publicized in the press right now about us. Like all people our age we are trying to find someone special that we can share time with in our busy lives. We all have busy schedules and high demands. We love our life and are thankful for all that we have. We are simply stating that it is difficult to maintain relationships with the kind of life we live.

We love our fans and it is important to us to protect that relationship.

To Our Fans from Joe:

This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.

Several things I will state with all my heart…

I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.

For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.

There were later attempts at communication that had no response.

I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth.

Hope this helps enlighten a little.

We are all so excited about this weekend. We have been busy doing our TV show.

This weekend we have 3 shows and we CAN’T WAIT TO SEE OUR FANS AGAIN IN CONCERT:

Tonight we are doing a special concert at the Roxy to help launch 77Kids for American Eagle
Tomorrow we have a show in San Diego.

Then Sunday we are back in LA for a private show.

We will keep you up to date throughout the weekend.

Drinking Lovebug

So moved by the Jonas Brothers‘ new single, “Lovebug,” was Philadelphia bartender Tony Perez (shown above) that he named of his signature drinks “Lovebug.” Seriously. While the Jonas Brothers probably wouldn’t drink them (well, Kevin’s legal, but he’d probably politely pass), they’d surely be flattered by the gesture.

New Blog From Jonas Brothers

Hey everyone!

There has been so much happening recently. We have been working on the new show (JONAS), recording music, doing a few shows, etc.

This week was Kevin's birthday so we took the last day to celebrate his birthday with family, the band, and a few friends. It is so awesome to stop and appreciate all that has happened to us because of all of you.

We are writing this from the beach...doing nothing! First time we have stopped in a while. Can't get better than this. We are already feeling refreshed.

Thanks for all the positive comments on the Skating special yesterday. Also, thanks for the amazing response to our little SayNow message. Thinking we will be sending even more.

Hey everyone!

Kevin here. Still can’t believe I just turned 21 years old.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the comments, messages, etc. You helped make this one of the best days ever.

We were busy all day filming our new show so everyone showed up at the set and sang Happy Birthday.

Then a friend let me use his car (a Lamborghini) for the day. It was so much fun to drive it. Although it is great…I still love my Tahoe Hybrid!

Had fun all day with friends and family. But one of the best things was reading all the comments you left.

JONAS - Official Logo and Overview

Disney Channel just released the new logo for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Series, “JONAS“.

The overview:

JONAS is the hottest rock band on the planet. Band members Nick, Kevin, and Joe Lucas are superstar pop idols who tear up the stage night after night causing severe outbreaks of JONAS induced hysteria. Legions of fans (especially the ones determined to become a future Mrs. Lucas) want a peek at what their lives are like offstage. Behind the cool clothes and sleek guitars, they’re just 3 boys from Jersey who are living the dream. These ultra-talented brothers are also each other’s best friends and still live at home with Mom, Dad, and little brother Frankie. Backstreet Boys mention JB in an MTV article

And pop music today is as hot as it was nearly a decade ago, thanks to acts like the Jonas Brothers, and the Backstreet Boys are passing the boy-band torch to their former tourmates. “They opened for us on the ‘Never Gone Tour.’ They’re a talented bunch of kids. They’re growing up fast,” Littrell added. “I don’t feel reluctant to give them advice. I’ll never forget: We were doing a show in Florida with the Temptations, and one of those guys stood up and said, ‘This is show business, and as you’re doing your show, your business could be running out on you.’ I’ll never forget that.”

New blog from the JB!

Hey everyone!

It has been a busy month. We got off tour and immediately went into production of our new DC show - JONAS. It is so exciting! We have completed 4-5 episodes already and they are going great. We can’t wait for you to see it. We are not sure when it will start airing but we are all really proud to work with the people in the show.

We are also releasing a All Access Book from the Burning Up Tour. We picked out all the pictures and shared a lot of stuff that we hope touches our fans.

In February we will be releasing our first movie in 3D. The movie is from this summer’s tour and covers a lot of the things did this summer and places that we visited. We just had our first screening and all we can say about the movie is…

Really wish we could see you all again on tour but we will be back on tour next summer.
